#LinkedIn Rolls Out Option to Pin Comments in Reply Chains.

🔵 You can now PIN a comment within the LinkedIn post reply section, which could help to HIGHLIGHT THE BEST RESPONSES and spark more engagement with your updates.
🔵 You now have the capacity to pin a comment from the three dots menu, which will then keep that specific response at the top of the reply chain.
NOTE: Currently I can only do it from the LinkedIn mobile app
🔵 This is an excellent way to guide the related conversation or to simply ACKNOWLEDGE USERS who have engaged with your post creatively or thoughtfully.

QUICK TIPS: How to determine if LinkedIn is a right channel for you
Here is the QUICKEST way to determine if #LinkedIn is a good sales and marketing channel for your business.
I want you to to think 🤔 about WHO the key decision makers are that you need to talk to?
1. ✍️ List those people’s “job title”
eg. Asset Manager, CTO, Construction Manager, People & Culture Manager, CFO, Warehouse Manager etc…. You get my drift 😊
2. ✍️ List the industries that these people work in
eg. Retail, property, financial services, consumer goods
3. ✍️ List the location of these people
eg. Sydney, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Perth
Go to the LinkedIn “search bar” and using the #boolean search method (using “ “ AND, NOT, OR) input your “ideal” customer based on your above list
eg. “Asset Manager AND real estate AND Singapore” OR “General Manager AND Retail AND Sydney”
HIT “see all results”
What does your result list look 👀 like?
If it’s a healthy list, your question is answered.

QUICK TIP: 7 things you NEED to do today
The following will take you approximately 7 minutes to do and might just WIN you a new opportunity. 😎
Here’s the thing, there is NO point hanging out here if you haven’t spruced up you #LinkedIn profile page and made yourselves more “findable”.
7 things to do TODAY:
1. Put yourself into “creator mode” - gives you more opportunity to bring your LinkedIn profile page to life.
2. Add relevant keywords in your Headline - makes you more “findable”
3. Add your website OR a “call to action” under Contact info (look at mine in image below ⬇️)
4. Complete your “About Me” section - Obvious huh? 🤔 but most people do a rubbish job here. This is a real opportunity to engage the reader and motivate them to get in touch!!
5. Add your contact details (Again!, feels like a lot but it’s worth it) to the “About Me” section
6. Add at least 2-3 items in “Featured”section - MIX IT UP - articles, videos, high performing posts, marketing collateral, PR
This is a great opportunity to bring your page to life - adds some colour 🌈 and interest 🎯 and demonstrates your an expert.
7. FINALLY - check your “privacy settings” and make sure you’re are fully visible - No point making your page shine ✨ and then being unfindable !!!
