The importance of a carefully crafted message is important. The words you choose, the tone and inflection are all part of this package.
“Say what you mean” means to be truthful and “Mean what you say” means if need be, you’ll be able to follow through on what you said in the first place!
Authenticity is super important. BE YOU.
If you want people to believe in you and what you say, speak clearly with purpose, and conviction. This is a good place to start.

QUICK TIPS: What will help make your LinkedIn posts perform?
🎯 Spark interest in the first 3 lines - the average LinkedIn user will only scroll through their feed for maximum 2 minutes!
🎯 Add visuals EVERY time to your post - images or video (video is 6X more consumed than other mediums)
🎯 Dwell time matters (how long a person stays on your post) - best performing posts are between 1200 - 1600 characters
🎯 When relevant - tag (@) individuals and organisations - pull their eyeballs across your post - get them involved in the conversation
🎯 Include 3-5 hashtags - doesn't matter if it is throughout your text or at the bottom of the post. However, make sure that the hashtags have a following
🎯 Include a CTA (call-to-action) - Ask for an opinion, drive them to a downloadable article or website
🎯 Have a standard LinkedIn signoff - requesting people to follow your profile or "ring your bell", etc. See mine below as an example ⬇️⬇️
🎯 Engage with the comments as they come in - this is CRITICAL - sends a clear message to the LinkedIn #algorithm that your post is performing and therefore it will be fed up to more people! (extends post reach)

I want to look at the new features #LinkedIn has incorporated to maximise inclusion on the platform.
1. LinkedIn has added auto-captions for video content, providing another way to maximize inclusion with LinkedIn content. You now have the option to activate automated captions.
Auto captions can be a big help, not just for those with hearing difficulties, but also for people watching videos in ‘sound off’ situations.
2. Users will now also be able to turn on high contrast when watching videos on the LinkedIn app, which will adjust the colors to improve accessibility for those with low vision or visual disabilities.
3. LinkedIn is adding alt-text functionality in Campaign Manager (the LinkedIn Ad management platform), which will enable advertisers to add text descriptions to image ads
These changes are a great start to making #LinkedIn the most inclusive platform possible - providing tools and experiences that enable every professional to be productive and successful.🎯❤️
