My, Oh, My! I've never seen so many people out and about!
There has definitely been a surge in “event" posts on #LinkedIn.
So how do you make those "event" posts perform at their best?
Here are some quick tips for extending the reach.
1. An "event" can equal 3 posts - before, during, and after.
2. Include 1 or 2 paragraphs (we like to call this, smart commentary 🙃) about the event - what was it? where was it? purpose? outcomes? - Give us an overview, and set the scene… So we know what we are looking at!
3. Don't forget to take photos and/or videos of clients/colleagues/booth/collateral AND the vibe! BTW "video" is 6 times more consumed than written text! #turbocharge 💥
4. Tag individuals (clients / colleagues / speakers / guests) & companies in your posts.
However, remember to make sure the people you tag are relevant. 50% of the people tagged MUST engage with the post, otherwise, your post will be penalized.
5. Add hashtags and DON'T forget the "event" hashtag! - #superimportant
6. Keep the conversation going - whenever people comment on your post, acknowledge them and respond
Now, get out there, have some fun and share the love! ❤️
